Hudson Book Festival
Alice, Cat and I were so impressed with the first-ever Hudson Book Festival last month, in Hudson, NY. We were among over 50 authors and illustrators of children’s books, with over 4000 visitors attending. All three of us chatted with our readers, signed books, and presented workshops during the day.
Alice spent much of her day patiently teaching children how to make beautiful, magic origami boxes. Cat surely must have had one of the most impressive book displays, for Manuel and the Lobsterman, as you can see! And here I am with the results of my “Scribbling Workshop”. What’s a “scribbling workshop”, you ask? Well, we all warmed up with some energetic scribbling-in-the-air exercises, and then let those markers and crayons loose!
