In a book as beautiful to look at as it is useful for teaching addition, one young guinea pig meets up with one friend, then another and another, and with each addition the fun and games escalate.  Alas, a food fight threatens to end the day in tears and chaos.  Luckily the tenth player to appear is a Big Guinea Pig, who kindly but firmly puts a lid on the little ones’ rascality, and escorts them safely home.
